Customizing the Command Prompt

For its command prompt, BricsCAD uses a simple ‘:’ to indicate it is ready for you to enter a command. You can change what BricsCAD displays through the Settings dialog box.

Older releases of AutoCAD used ‘Command:’, and newer releases use ‘Type a command’. You can change what BricsCAD displays through the Settings dialog box. Command prompt customization is not available in AutoCAD.
